The Story So Far

CJ's Brew n BBQ didn't start in a professional kitchen or a commercial brewery. It started in a cluttered backyard with a rusted offset smoker and a five-gallon plastic bucket. Like many enthusiasts, I was driven by the challenge of mastering the "low and slow" method while simultaneously trying to brew a better IPA than I could buy at the store.

What began as a weekend hobby quickly became an obsession with data and technique. Years of logging every cook and every brew, refining recipes until they were bulletproof. This site is the evolution of that logbook — a place to share battle-tested recipes and tools so you can skip the learning curve and get straight to the good stuff.
